MissionAssist gives small grants of money to help various Christian projects around the world. We aim to give encouragement and support, particularly if a small amount can make a big difference.

All projects that we support must serve our charity’s objectives. Our charity’s governing document defines these:

  • Advance the Christian faith for the public’s benefit and according to the charity’s Statement of Belief.
  • Consistent with that first objective, provide or develop items, equipment, facilities and services to:
    • prevent or relieve sickness and poor health,
    • prevent or relieve financial hardship,
    • promote and provide education.

To give you an idea of what we support, small grants in recent years have provided money for:

  • Materials for a six month sewing project in Kenya to train more than 20 women who lacked opportunities in life. This enabled them to start their own businesses and provide for their families’ basic needs.
  • Bibles and song books for a community in India, and for a community in Haiti. The people could not buy these books because they relied on daily wages for day-to-day living.
  • A retreat and training event for local leaders in an Asian country where there is religious discrimination and trouble.
  • Equipment for a small business run by some church members in West Africa. They could then make juice, seal it in bottles, label and store it. Their project reduced the waste of fruit and earned an income.
  • Translation and publication of a Bible story book for Polish-speaking families.

“Your grant is very helpful. Many were reading the Bible and knowing more about Jesus Christ. Thank you so much.”

“Thank you for your co-operation in establishing the kingdom of God by providing precious funds.”
