“A friend of my sister told me about MissionAssist and I wanted to respond because I have the skills.”Suzanne
The aim of teaching English as a further language is to support people who need to learn English as part of their role in mission. The online service is provided free of charge. Occasionally MissionAssist is asked if we can provide a face-to-face tutor, which would be at the client’s expense.
Each volunteer will be given some information about the client requesting the service and can decide if they are available and willing to tutor them. Once you have agreed to take on a student, you would liaise with the client and arrange sessions at a mutually convenient time.
“I am happy for your help connecting us to Vivienne. I am even more thrilled that she already has the experience. There could not be a better option!”Richard, Uganda
