Supporting mission work worldwide
MissionAssist comprises a network of dedicated volunteers, throughout the United Kingdom and elsewhere, helping mission workers advance the gospel and make scripture accessible wherever they are in the world. Working in their own homes, our volunteers use their skills and experience to provide many services and resources.
We provide services for Christians who have been sent out from their own churches and are working overseas in support of some aspect of Christian mission. These services range from the practical to administrative and academic, and are limited only by the fact that everything is done by volunteers working from their own homes. Occasionally, one of our volunteers will travel abroad themselves to carry out a task and fulfil a request for help but this is the exception rather than the rule.
Our charity set-up
To achieve all this, we bring together Christians, mostly based in the UK, who have a wide range of skills, experience and different abilities. We are a registered charity, with a board of trustees and various administrative staff, none of whom receives any salary. MissionAssist is led by Sarah McQuay, Chief Executive Officer, who says, “We are always on the lookout for more members, including volunteers to help provide and expand our range of services. Join us to pray and find out more.”
MissionAssist is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO, number 1162807). You can find more information on the Charity Commission for England and Wales Register of Charities entry for MissionAssist.
