Administration volunteers keep MissionAssist running smoothly!
“Now that I am unable to continue serving overseas I want to serve mission from home.”

If you have a friendly, encouraging nature, and you are prepared to serve a team of people, please contact us. Tasks range from helping with event planning to writing meeting minutes.
Examples of current opportunities for volunteers:
Events Administrator – Plan and manage our stand at events such as Keswick Convention – to raise awareness of our services and attract new volunteers. You will handle logistics, liaise with venues and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Impact: More people discover our services, resources and volunteering opportunities.
Welcome Team – Be the friendly first point of contact for new members. Welcome them, match their skills to suitable roles and introduce them to their team leader, so everyone feels valued and connected. You will learn to use the membership database for tracking tasks and keeping membership records accurate.
Impact: New volunteers feel supported and engaged as soon as they join.
Magazine Service Deputy Coordinator – Assist the Coordinator by providing holiday cover and helping explore new ways to refresh and improve the service.
Impact: The service keeps running smoothly and evolving to meet mission workers’ needs.
Hospitality Deputy Coordinator – Shadow the Coordinator and step in for holiday cover to ensure prompt responses to requests for the service. A great opportunity to learn and support a core part of MissionAssist’s care for mission workers.
Impact: Hosts are kept informed and guests requesting the service feel welcomed and cared for.
Small Projects Deputy Coordinator – Learn about MissionAssist’s grant ministry and assist the Coordinator with routine administration. You will handle enquiries, follow up with applicants and share stories of successful projects to celebrate their impact.
Impact: The grants ministry keeps running smoothly as the volume of enquiries and applications increases.
