MissionAssist is delighted to announce a new way for supporters to join in prayer: through the PrayerMate app. This popular tool, used by Christians worldwide for over a decade, helps people stay connected and pray regularly for causes close to their hearts. Now, MissionAssist has its own dedicated prayer feed on the app.
Prayer has always been central to MissionAssist’s work of serving world mission from home. By subscribing to this new, public feed, supporters can receive timely prayer points directly on their phones — making it easier than ever to pray for volunteers, mission organisations, and communities around the globe.
“Prayer sustains us and the work we do. We’re thrilled to offer this new way for everyone to engage and invite others to pray alongside us.”Sarah McQuay, CEO, MissionAssist
The PrayerMate app already hosts hundreds of prayer feeds from organisations including Wycliffe Bible Translators and OMF. MissionAssist’s addition means supporters can now integrate prayer topics into their daily prayer routine, alongside other causes they care about.
This initiative complements MissionAssist’s existing prayer resources which are specifically for members, including the monthly prayer bulletin and online prayer meetings. By sharing prayer points more widely via the app, MissionAssist hopes to encourage and enable even more people to pray for its volunteers, services, and partnerships.
MissionAssist has also updated its website to include links to PrayerMate, alongside publicising the prayer feed via social media channels. Supporters are encouraged to spread the word by sharing posts and inviting friends to subscribe.
Whether you’ve been praying for MissionAssist for years or are just discovering its network of volunteers serving world mission from home, this new prayer feed offers a simple and meaningful way to stay connected. Praise the Lord for this opportunity to unite in prayer!
