- 1989 – Founded as Wycliffe Associates (UK)
- 1992 – Registered as a charity in England and Wales
- 1990s – Expanded volunteer services
- 2007 – Began partnership with Bible Society
- 2012 – Adopted the new name MissionAssist
- 2015 – Completed the EasyEnglish Bible translation
- 2023 – Celebrated a national honour for the Bible Digitisation Project
